Our rooms were wonderful and cosy here with a comfy cozy bed.

It became my favourite place to stay in Grandcourt.

The location of the hotel was lovely, handy to Albert for restaurants etc.

The staff is incredibly hospitable, as well as host. Its location is excellent & particularly good, next to other important WW1 monuments, and the centre of the Somme.

This hotel was located in a central area near to the Ulster Memorial Tower in Thiepval as well as a working farm with goats and many cows. Also, it was 15 min drive from an evocative memorial;)))

The big and cosy room had all the necessary facilities, WiFi and a kitchenette. Had central location in the Ancre valley.

Great base for discovering Grandcourt. Fab meals with warm drinks. Central location in the village eg shop or restaurant. Also - just next door to the Somme, the Somme museums, and a traditional farm.

The breakfast here is amazing to kickstart your day, they serve delicious meats, top-notch cheeses, and yummy homemade goodies. the location is great for visiting the Somme battlefields and the surrounding area is just lovely. 🍳

I recently stayed at a charming bed & breakfast in the beautiful Ancre valley. The accommodation at Battery Valley Farm was superb and had everything I needed, including a well-equipped kitchen. The hosts, Mireille and Frederic, were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The breakfast spread was magnificent, with a wide variety of options and delicious extras like crepes and pain perdu. The location was also perfect, with easy access to the Somme Battlefield and nearby monuments. I'm already planning to return with my grandson and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Fantastic staff and cosy rooms, we had a really lovely experience. The place had a special atmosphere. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic with plenty of food and warm drinks. Its location was unbeatable and excellent, in the Ancre valley, and in a local area.

The staff is incredibly hospitable, and the host too. The location is quiet in a local area, so close to restaurants, museums, and the fields. Also, it's located 2 km from a black obelisk.

Convenient Location 📍

This place is situated in a wonderful spot really close to the Ulster monument. you can easily reach the village with its shops and restaurants from here.

Stayed here with my dog and everything was first-class. The location was marvellous on a working farm. Loved that it was set right by restaurant, other important WW1 monuments, and the Ulster Memorial Tower.
